My plans for building on North Captiva were coming together. I connected with a fabulous Florida builder who shared a similar vision and also just bought land on the same sandy lane. Everything was falling into place. I had drawn up two phases for the treehouse build with projections and a rough marketing plan set for the 2021 holiday season.
Then reality hit. Supply chain issues. Unstable crane prices. Costs doubled, then tripled. Building plans stopped, dead in the water.
And so I waited. Again. ✧
