So here we are three years later getting ready to move. This time was different though. I wasn’t going to sit on the sideline anymore, and so I put myself first on the list. Well, maybe that’s a stretch because after-all I am a mom of two teenagers, but nonetheless my awareness was heightened.  

I sought out to find a new property in our new city that had a carriage house. That way STAY127 could begin right in my literal backyard. 

What happened next is, well, part magic and the beauty of social media. 

Early one Sunday morning I searched Pinterest looking to find a bathroom redesign I had envisioned for a property we were considering. As expected I went ‘down the ubiquitous rabbit hole’ and landed on an Instagram Reel touting an upcoming open house. 

An open house for a collection of properties I held in my mind’s eye as the inspiration for STAY127. 

I immediately woke up my husband with an onslaught of plans and dreams of buying one of those Hedgewood properties. 

I can still feel the energy from that morning. No coincidences — it was pure magic. ✧
